But yeah that's sort of the gist of it. The app I mentioned allows you to set a start point in the code and an end point, so youre only monitoring a very small part of the Web page code, usually a download link or version change info. I was sure this could be done but if it requires regex, I'll pass! I tried learning from that site you pointed out, but when I got something working on the sites test page, it wouldn't work in rainmeter and couldn't understand why, so gave up. I mean, what good is a site teaching code that doesn't work?!
