Hey I just tried this and the bands still stay and freeze (until I play something else). Do I do this step as part of the other steps the other guy who helped me suggested or just standalone. This is getting weird that I am getting different results. Thanks. I'll try and do it all from scratch I guess.I would suggest a different approach...
After editing "@Resources\Variaables.inc" variables and setting MinBarHeight=0, save the file and then load "Generatebands.ini" skin from the Fountain of Colors folder. That will update the band skin, so the minimum bar height is zero (not visible).
NOTE: Any time you manually change the @Resources\Variables.inc you need to load the "GenerateBands.ini" skin to update the visualizer.

Yeah I reinstalled and started again but it's still the same. In fact things are worse now as the bars didn't used to freeze even when I had the line. I'm so tired of this. Even upon reinstallation it no longer behaves as it used to. The app is now unusable even after reinstallation.
